Crime News. An actress has accused the son of a former MLA of rape. The film actress said that the accused had physical relations several times on the pretext of marriage. The accused threatened him by placing a pistol on his head. The police have registered an FIR and started investigating the matter.
The whole matter is from Solapur, Maharashtra. Police have registered a case of rape with a Marathi actress against Viraj Patil, son of former state MLA Ravikant Patil. Marathi actress has alleged that the MLA’s married son forcibly raped her on the pretext of marriage. The Marathi actress alleges that the MLA’s son had come in contact with her on Facebook in 2023 and became her friend. The actress alleges that the former MLA’s son threatened her when she talked about getting married.

On the complaint of Marathi actress, Solapur Police registered a case against Viraj Patil, son of former MLA Ravikant Patil, for raping the actress. The accused has been identified as Viraj Ravikant Patil, resident of Soregaon, Solapur. This case has been registered at the airport police station. The incident is said to have taken place between August 2023 and January 2024. The complainant says that the accused is already married. He connected with him through Facebook in August 2023. He had reportedly promised to divorce his wife and marry her. After which consensual sexual relations took place.
According to the complaint, this incident took place between August 27, 2023 and January 20, 2024 at a resort in Vimannagar and Mulshi. An FIR has been registered against Viraj Patil under sections 376, 376 (2) (N), 377, 323, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code as well as sections of the Arms Act.
