Names finalized on 69 seats

According to sources, the candidates for 69 seats were discussed in a meeting in Raipur on Thursday. Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP President JP Nadda as well as the top leadership of the party in Chhattisgarh were present in this meeting. The names of the candidates to be fielded on 69 seats have been finalized in the meeting.

Will she field 6 MPs?

A senior BJP leader said that ‘the party will give tickets to MPs in the state. We have nine MPs from Chhattisgarh and the party is thinking of giving tickets to at least six of them. The name of Durg MP Vijay Baghel has been declared in the first list. He further said, ‘Chhattisgarh BJP chief Arun Sao, Raipur MP Sunil Soni and Union Minister Renuka Singh are such MPs who may get a chance to contest the assembly elections.’

Announcement will be made next week

It is noteworthy that BJP had announced candidates for 21 out of 90 seats last month. A senior party leader said that ‘the names of the candidates were finalized on Thursday. It will be announced next week. Let us tell you that if the names of 69 candidates are announced, then this will be the second and last list of BJP in Chhattisgarh. Because names of 21 candidates have been announced in the first list.
