But if the required overs are not completed, the match will be moved from the spot where it was stopped on Sunday to the reserve day – Monday, September 18.

Reserve day has been kept for only two matches in the entire Asia Cup 2023. The first was the India vs Pakistan Asia Cup Super Four match and the second was the final of the tournament. If the weather does not permit 20 overs per side on either day, India and Sri Lanka will be declared joint winners of the Asia Cup 2023.
