In fact, in the early hours of Wednesday, the battery of Ola scooter exploded while charging in Krishna Nagar of Tikrapara police station area of Raipur. Due to short circuit, the fire quickly spread to the two-storey house. According to the information, 7 people were present at the house during this incident, out of which 3 people got burnt. After receiving information about the incident, the fire brigade team reached the spot and the fire was brought under control.
According to the information, in this incident of arson, windows, doors and many items of the house were burnt to ashes. Thankfully, after getting information about the incident, the constables of 112 team reached the spot and the driver along with the fire brigade team helped in getting the people out of the house and took them to the hospital.

Due to this sudden fire, Faizan Khan, his wife Yasmin Khan and mother suffered injuries in their hands and legs. Other members of the house had to face a lot of problems due to being trapped in the smoke. He was admitted to a private hospital. At present everyone’s condition is out of danger.

The victim Dr. Faizan (age 38) has a two-storey house in Krishna Nagar, where he lives with his family. He told that, around 1.30 am on Tuesday night, the family members put the Ola scooter on charge and went to sleep. There were three more two-wheelers parked in the courtyard of the house. Then suddenly around 5.30 in the morning the battery of the Ola scooter exploded due to short circuit. Due to this, the fire spread throughout the vehicle and within no time the fire spread to the doors of the rooms on the lower and upper floors of the house. During this incident, three two-wheelers next to the Ola scooter were also completely burnt due to the fire. After receiving information about the incident, dial 112 and the fire brigade team with the help of nearby people extinguished the fire and rescued the family.
