Deputy Collector and ADM visited Lormi

On the instructions of the Collector, SDM Lormi Praveen Tiwari (Deputy Collector) conducted a surprise inspection of Central Cooperative Limited Bank Lormi, Bodtara and Dindori. When chaos was found in Lormi Bank, the branch manager was reprimanded and directed to improve the system. While giving priority to the disabled, women and the elderly, instructions were given to do their work first. The SDM warned the bank staff to take strict action if any complaint is received from the farmers.

Officers visited these banks

On the instructions of the Collector, a surprise inspection of the District Cooperative Bank Setganga, Bodtara, Kanteli, Sargaon, Patharia was conducted by the SDM, Tehsildar and Naib Tehsildar of the concerned area. During this, instructions were given to provide necessary facilities to the farmers and account holders in the banks. Instructions were also given to issue time table for all the villages and make announcement in the villages. Also asked to provide necessary facilities to elderly and disabled persons.

Paddy procurement centers were also inspected by revenue officers.

As per the instructions of the Collector, apart from the Co-operative Bank, surprise inspection of paddy procurement centers was also conducted by the Revenue Officers and physical verification of paddy purchase and lifting, availability of gunny bags etc. was done. Instructions were given to immediately get the paddy lifted in excess of the buffer limit. Also, instructions were given to the committee manager to provide necessary facilities to the farmers and to take action to surrender the area from the farmers who have sold the paddy.
