Duniya Ka Sabse Patla Hotel: Till now you might have seen very big and luxurious hotels, but you will be stunned to see Piturrooms, a hotel located in Salatiga City in Central Java, Indonesia.

It is luxurious but it is the thinnest hotel in the world. So thin that it is made on an area of only 9 feet wide. This five-storey hotel has been built on a piece of barren land which was earlier used by people as a dumping ground. There are seven rooms in this hotel. Every room has double bed, shower and toilet. Apart from hotel rooms, there is also a roof top restaurant where events and art exhibitions are held.

The hotel is built on waste land

This hotel has been built on a strangely shaped and unused piece of land, which was between the street and the houses and was being used as a dumping ground by the local people. However, it was not easy to build this hotel on this piece of land surrounded by nearby houses, but this feat was accomplished by architect Ari Indra. (Duniya Ka Sabse Patla Hotel) Despite all the difficulties, he built this magnificent hotel.

When was this hotel opened?

Pitrooms is a hotel with seven rooms. For this reason, it has been named Piturrooms (Duniya Ka Sabse Patla Hotel), because pitu means ‘seven’ in Javanese language. This hotel is five storeyed, whose width is nine feet. Ari Indra opened it in December 2022. He says that since Piturrooms opened, 95 percent of the guests here have been Indonesians.
