Chandigarh. Farmer Shubhakaran Singh was killed in a clash with the police on the Haryana border when Punjab farmers were leaving for Delhi. The post-mortem conducted on Wednesday, eight days after the death, made many shocking revelations. Citing the post-mortem report, a media house said that Shubhakaran died due to gunshot injury. Injuries were found on the back part of the skull, whereas there were no injury marks on any other part of his body. Shrapnel was also found in his head in the CT scan done before post-mortem. The doctors have submitted the post-mortem report to the Patiala Police.

Shubhakaran Singh’s last rites took place

After post-mortem, Shubhakaran Singh was cremated on Thursday. Before the post-mortem, the protesting farmers and his family demanded that a case of murder be registered against the police personnel responsible for Shubhakaran’s death and that the deceased be given the status of “martyr”.
