Share Market Latest Update: Today i.e. on 9th May, a decline is being seen in the share market. Sensex is trading at the level of 72,964 with a fall of about 500. At the same time, a decline of more than 150 points is being seen in Nifty, it is trading at the level of 22,151.

Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 21 are declining and only 9 are rising. Except the shares of Nifty PSU Bank, Auto and Consumer Durables, the shares of all other sectors are witnessing a decline. The highest in Nifty Auto is 1.58%.

Hero MotoCorp shares rose 6%

After positive results for the fourth quarter of 2024, shares of two-wheeler company Hero MotoCorp are seeing a rise of 5.98%. The shares of the company are trading at the level of Rs 4,890.

In the fourth quarter (January-March), the company’s profit has increased by 18% on annual basis to Rs 1016.05 crore. In the same quarter a year ago, the company had registered a standalone net profit of Rs 858.93 crore.

Stock market closed flat yesterday

Yesterday i.e. on 8th May, flat trading was seen in the stock market. Sensex closed at 73,466 with a fall of 45 points. At the same time, Nifty closed at the level of 22,306. Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 15 saw a decline and 15 saw a rise.

On BSE, 2,133 shares rose and 1,661 shares fell. There was no change in 132 shares. Whereas oil and gas had the highest increase of 1.7%. Auto index rose 1.56%. Energy increased by 1.54% and metals increased by 1.48%. Whereas Nifty Bank declined by 0.55%.
