    Google is going to give a big shock to crores of users around the world. Users may have to pay to search anything on Google. Google is working on such an AI enabled search feature for which it can charge users. Google is planning to provide generative AI experience to users in search. Google generates revenue through its web services and advertising. Google gives users the option to search anything for free. Users can search anything on Google for free.

    Do you have to pay for Google search?

    The company earns a lot from Google search, but after the arrival of ChatGPT, the company faced a threat to its business. It has been almost one and a half years since this platform was launched and now the company is considering a major change in its business model. This shows in which direction the company is thinking regarding AI. Google is exploring options by which AI features can be bundled with premium subscriptions. The company is already offering the feature of Gemini AI Assistant with Gmail and Docs. This information has been given by quoting three people related to the case.

    According to the report, engineers are working on this technology, but company executives have not yet taken a final decision on it. However, the company’s traditional search engine will remain free as before. The company is also considering showing ads to subscribers. Keep in mind that this is the first time that the company is considering making its service paid.

    Search Generative Experience

    A survey was conducted regarding this business model of Google, in which 70 percent of the users wanted to use the search feature for free. At the same time, only 30 percent of users are willing to spend for Google’s Search Generative Experience (SGE). Through this AI enabled search feature of Google, users can get better search experience. However, this feature of Google is currently in the experimental phase. It is also not confirmed when it will be brought. This preparation of Google shows that technology companies will now charge users for every service which they were getting for free.
