Adani Group will invest Rs 75 thousand crore: Pranab Adani

He said that Adani Group will invest about Rs 75 thousand crore in Madhya Pradesh. In this, Rs 5 thousand crore will be used to build Mahakal Expressway from Ujjain to Bhopal via Indore.

There will be investment in these areas

Pranab Adani said that we will set up a clinker unit of 40 lakh tonne per annum in Choragadi and two cement grinding units with a combined capacity of 80 lakh tonne per annum in Dewas and Bhopal and will invest Rs 5 thousand crore for this. Adani Group will invest more than Rs 4 thousand crore in the natural resources sector and Rs 600 crore to expand its footprint in food processing, agro-logistics, logistics and defense manufacturing.

We will invest in fuel distribution: Pranab Adani

Adani said that our investment in fuel distribution, which includes city gas distribution, bio, liquefied natural gas, electric vehicles, will be more than Rs 2,100 crore, a major part of which will be in our urban centers in Bhind, Burhanpur, Anuppur, Tikamgarh and Alirajpur. Will be used to strengthen the gas distribution network.

Affordable electricity will be available in the state

Adani Group’s biggest investment will be in increasing access to affordable electricity in your state. We will invest about Rs 30,000 crore to increase the power generation capacity at our Mahan Energen plant in Singrauli from the existing 1,200 MW to 4,400 MW. We will also invest about Rs 28 thousand crore to set up pumped storage projects of 3 thousand 410 MW capacity. Overall, our total planned investment of approximately Rs 75 thousand crore will create more than 15 thousand direct and indirect employment opportunities in industrial areas across Madhya Pradesh.
