But now according to the information received from BCCI sources, the final match of IPL will be played at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
According to a senior BCCI official, the IPL Governing Council has followed the long-standing tradition of holding the opening and final matches at the home ground of defending champion Chennai Super Kings. He also informed that keeping the Lok Sabha elections in mind, preparations have been made for the remaining IPL matches. The schedule will be released soon.
Where will the playoff matches be played?
According to information received from BCCI sources, the final match can be played at Chepauk Stadium in Chennai. The first qualifier and eliminator is going to be played at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Talking about the second qualifier, information has come out that it will be played at Chepauk Stadium in Chennai.
