    IND Vs AFG 2nd T20I: Team India has won the second match of the three T20 match series being played between India and Afghanistan at Holkar Stadium in Indore by 6 wickets. With this victory, India has taken an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series. In today’s match, India won the toss and decided to bowl first. After which Afghanistan team was reduced to 172 runs in 20 overs. Team India, which came on the field to chase the target of 173 runs for victory, achieved the target by losing 4 wickets in 15.4 overs.

    Gulbadin played half century innings for Afghanistan

    In today’s match, Gulbadin Naib scored the highest score of 57 runs for the Afghanistan team who came to bat first. Najibullah Zadran contributed 23 runs, Mujeeb ur Rehman contributed 21 runs and Karim Janat contributed 20 runs. Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Mohammad Nabi scored 14 runs each. Captain Ibrahim Zadran was out after scoring eight runs and Azmatullah Omarzai was out after scoring two runs. Noor Ahmed scored one run. Naveen Ul Haq remained unbeaten after scoring one run. Fazalhaq Farooqui could not open the account.

    Arshdeep took 3 wickets

    Among Indian bowlers, Arshdeep Singh took maximum three wickets, Akshar Patel and Ravi Bishnoi got two wickets each. Shivam Dubey took one wicket.

    Yashasvi and Shivam played half-century innings for India

    The Indian team had a bad start while chasing the target of 173 runs given by the Afghan team. Captain Rohit Sharma’s account did not open in this match also, he was out for zero for the second consecutive match. Virat Kohli returned after 14 months and scored 16. Wicket keeper batsman Jitesh Sharma also could not open his account. Today Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shivam Dubey played half-century innings for Team India. Yashasvi scored the maximum 68 runs. Whereas, Shivam Dubey scored unbeaten 63 runs. Rinku Singh remained unbeaten after scoring 9 runs.

    Karim Janat took 2 wickets for Afghanistan

    Karim Janat took two wickets for Afghanistan in today’s match. Fazalhaq Farooqui and Naveen Ul Haq took one wicket each. With this victory against Afghanistan, India has taken an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series. The third and last match of the series will be played on January 17 in Bengaluru.
