He can end his T20 career with Melbourne Renegades by retiring at the end of the current season. Under his captaincy, Finch led Australia to the T20 World Cup title in 2021. This right-handed opening batsman has played 146 ODI and 103 T20 international matches for Australia cricket team. He has already retired from international cricket. However, even after his retirement from BBL, Finch will be seen playing in the Legends tournament.

It is noteworthy that, Finch scored 11,458 runs in T20 cricket at an average of 33.70 and strike rate of 138.21. He is the 7th highest run scoring cricketer in this format. He is the second highest run scorer in BBL after Chris Lynn. His highest score in the league is 111 runs not out. 37-year-old Finch has scored 3,120 runs in 103 T20 international matches at an average of 34.29 and strike rate of 142.53. During this period, he has also scored 19 half-centuries and two centuries. Finch’s highest score in international T20 cricket is 172 runs, which he made against Zimbabwe (AUS vs ZIM) in 2018.
