Raipur. In the Under-14 Raj Singh Dungarpur Trophy, Chhattisgarh’s match with Uttar Pradesh was played at the Sector Ground in Bhilai. In this match, once again Ayanveer Bhatia’s bat spoke loudly. Ayanveer played a half-century and averted the defeat of Chhattisgarh and got the match drawn. Even before this, Ayanveer had scored a brilliant half-century against Uttarakhand, pulling the team out of trouble, due to which the team won.

Let us tell you that after winning the toss, Uttar Pradesh batted first and scored 405 runs. For UP, Hitesh Kumar played a brilliant inning of 149 runs and Aarush Gupta played a brilliant inning of 102 runs. In reply, Chhattisgarh scored 243 runs while batting in the second innings. At one time, Chhattisgarh’s batting faltered, then Ayanveer Singh Bhatia, who came to bat, lifted the team from difficult times and played a brilliant inning of 90 runs, averting Chhattisgarh’s defeat and ending the match in a draw.

Ayanveer hit attractive shots all around the field during his batting. Piyush Chandra also contributed an attractive 53 runs for Chhattisgarh. Both players Ayanveer and Piyush play matches for Bilaspur Cricket Association. In the end the match was a draw, in which Uttar Pradesh won the point by taking the first innings lead. Ayanveer Singh Bhatia’s all-round performance continues in the Under 14 Board Trophy. He also played an important inning of 71 runs against Uttarakhand in his first match. Due to which Chhattisgarh had won the match point due to the first innings lead. For his brilliant performance, he was also awarded the title of Man of the Match.
