The new season of Ranji Trophy was to start with the match between Bihar and Mumbai on Friday at Moin-ul-Haq Stadium in Patna. But two teams from Bihar reached the field for the match. All this happened due to a dispute between the officials of Bihar Cricket Association. The team that reached the ground first was chosen by BCA president Rakesh Tiwari, and it was this team that ultimately played the game on Friday. Case of assault reached the police station

BCA officials said that a written complaint has been given in this regard to Bahadurpur police station.
