To ensure this, physical, digital and social infrastructure must be compatible with future needs. This is why our government has increased the expenditure on infrastructure to Rs 10 lakh crore in the last nine years.
Highlighting the importance of steel in projects of railways, roads, airports, power projects, transport, houses for the poor and educational and health institutions, the Prime Minister said that in the last 9 years the government has made efforts to make the country self-reliant in steel production. Many steps have been taken for this. Highlighting the inauguration of one of the most modern steel plants in Nagarnar, PM Modi asserted, ‘Chhattisgarh is taking advantage of being a large steel producing state. The steel produced in Bastar will boost defense exports as well as strengthen the armed forces.
The Prime Minister said that the NMDC Steel Limited steel plant at Nagarnar in Bastar district of the state will provide employment opportunities to 50,000 youth of Bastar and surrounding areas and will also accelerate the socio-economic development of the area. This plant will put Bastar on the steel map of the world. Will enter in.
