An NIA spokesperson said that these five terrorists are wanted in a case registered against the terrorist activities of BKI with the aim of disturbing the peace and communal harmony of India and spreading terror in Punjab. He said the wanted terrorists are accused of carrying out terrorist activities in Punjab besides raising funds for the banned terrorist organization BKI through drug trafficking and large-scale extortion from businessmen and other prominent persons.

The spokesperson said that investigation has revealed that the five terrorists are engaged in recruiting new members for BKI by promising financial benefits. “He has also established a network of his operatives in different countries to further his terrorist activities in different parts of India,” the officer said.
