Noida: Marco Bezzecchi has won India’s first MotoGP Bharat Race. He defeated Jay Martin in a thrilling contest. CM Yogi Adityanath was also present to see the thrill of this last lap. Hardeep Singh Puri was also present with him. After the end of the race, CM Yogi and Anurag Thakur gave trophies to the top 3 riders in the podium area. The winner trophy was made in the shape of the map of India. After the trophy distribution, all three riders were seen celebrating with champagne in traditional style.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath watched the main race of MotoGP at Buddha International Circuit (BIC) in Greater Noida on the last day of ‘Moto GP Bharat’ on Sunday. He reached Buddha International Circuit from Gautam Buddha University. CM Yogi was present in the balcony of the VVIP lounge when there was a race to get ahead in the last lap between top riders Marco Bezzichi and Jay Martin. He was accompanied by Union Sports and Youth Affairs Minister Anurag Thakur and Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri.

In the final lap there was an exciting battle between the top 2 riders Marco Bezzecchi and Jay Martin. Especially in the last lap, both the riders were seen trying their best. Standing on the balcony of the second floor of the VIP lounge amidst the noise of powerful bikes on the world class track of Buddha International Circuit, CM Yogi enjoyed the thrilling last moments of this competition being organized for the first time in India.

Race completed in 21 laps

The main race of Moto GP was completed in 21 laps. An exciting competition was seen between the drivers in every lap. Marco Bezzecchi, who finished top during qualifying on Saturday, took the distinction of being the winner at the Buddh International Circuit. After him, Pramac’s George Martin stood second. Who won the sprint race on Saturday. Fabio Quartararo surprisingly took Yamaha to the podium. However, championship leader Peco Bagnia was out of the Bharat Grand Prix. This Italian rider had slipped at Turn 5.
