Speaking to ANI about India’s support to Israel, Naor Gillon said, “For me this is a point of optimism. It is very emotional. The level of support we got from the Prime Minister, on a Saturday when the whole picture was not clear. Then he tweeted a very clear condemnation. We will never forget it.”

He said, “This is very important. After talking to PM Netanyahu, Modiji made another tweet. I got a call from the minister… who said, ‘We are with you.’ There are high officials here, big businessmen here. Are… offering any kind of help.”

The Israeli Ambassador expressed gratitude for the support of the Indian people. He emphasized that India-Israel relations are very “deep and emotional”.

Amidst the attack by Israeli forces on Gaza after the attacks by Hamas, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday and informed him about the current situation.

PM Modi said in a post on X that the people of India are standing strongly with Israel in this difficult time.

He said, “I thank Prime Minister Netanyahu for his phone call and update on the current situation. The people of India stand firmly with Israel in this difficult time. India firmly and unequivocally condemns terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.” Condemns the expressions.”

Expressing solidarity with Israel in the wake of the deadly rocket attacks by Hamas on October 7, PM Modi said that people’s thoughts are with the innocent victims and their families.

PM Modi posted on Twitter, “Deeply shocked by the news of terrorist attacks in Israel. Our thoughts and prayers are with the innocent victims and their families. We stand in solidarity with Israel in this difficult time.”
