    Chhattisgarh congress list: On Sunday, Congress has released its third and final list for Chhattisgarh assembly elections. Congress has announced the names of 7 candidates in this list. Of the two lists that came earlier, Congress had announced the names of 30 candidates in the first list and 53 candidates in the second list. In this way, Congress has now announced candidates for all 90 assembly seats in the state. In the third list of Congress which came on Sunday, the party has canceled the tickets of four more MLAs.     Commenting on Congress cutting the tickets of MLAs, Chhattisgarh’s political expert Harsh Dubey said that Congress has cut the tickets of only those MLAs who were facing anti-incumbency wave. There was an anti-incumbency wave against these MLAs, in view of which the Congress party decided to cancel their tickets.

    Out of 90 Congress candidates in Chhattisgarh, 33 Scheduled Tribe, 29 Backward Class (OBC), 10 Scheduled Caste and 15 General Category candidates have been given tickets. Congress has also fielded three minority candidates out of 90. This time, the party has not given tickets to a total of 22 out of 71 sitting Congress MLAs. Let us tell you that till now Bharatiya Janata Party has announced candidates for 86 seats in Chhattisgarh.

    Releasing the third list, Congress said that sitting MLA Ambika Singh Dev has been fielded from Baikunthpur and Kuldeep Juneja from Raipur North. Apart from these, four new candidates have been fielded in place of the four MLAs whose tickets have been canceled, including Chaturi Nand (Saraipali-SC), Ambika Markam (Sivaha), Sandeep Sahu (Kasdol) and Rashmi Chandrakar (Mahasamund). . The party has fielded Omkar Sahu from Dhamtari seat. She could not win the 2018 elections from here. Of these five seats, except former MLA Ambika Markam, there are new faces on the remaining four.

    Chhattisgarh’s political expert Harsh Dubey said that in the final list, Congress has cut the tickets of 4 sitting MLAs, taking the final number to 22. Of the seven candidates declared, two are from Sahu, one from Kurmi, two from General and one each from tribal and SC communities. He said that out of all the 180 candidates declared by both the major national parties, the only Sikh candidate is from the Congress, who has been fielded from Raipur city (North). Keeping the social equation in mind, BJP has fielded only one Jain candidate from Raipur City West. BJP has made Rajesh Munat its candidate from here. Along with this, Congress has fielded a Muslim candidate Mohammad Akbar from Kawardha.
