In Balrampur district of Chhattisgarh, 4 villagers died due to lightning and 7 people were injured. While the villagers were working in the fields, everyone got hit by lightning. Of the 4 dead, three are from the same family. A total of 11 people have been affected by the debris falling in two places. Seriously injured people are undergoing treatment in the hospital. Villagers are in panic due to two incidents in the same village.

Heavy rain with thunder and lightning started in North Chhattisgarh on Wednesday afternoon. Four villagers died on the spot after gaz fell at two places in village Belsar under Shankargarh police station area of ​​Balrampur district between 5 to 6 pm. In Belsar, lightning fell on 6 people who were plowing the fields. In these, four villagers including three members of the same family died. In another incident, 5 villagers who were digging in the fields were seriously burnt after a stone fell on them. The burnt villagers include Munia resident Belsar, Pratima resident Belsar, Priyanka Nagesia, Sammi, Malli Nagesia, Anjana, Sandeep Nagesia resident of Bansdih police station Shankargarh.

7 injured are undergoing treatment in the hospital

All those injured due to lightning were brought to Shankargarh Community Health Center, where doctors declared 4 villagers dead after examination. Other villagers suffering from burn injuries are being treated at Shankargarh Community Health Centre. The deceased include Manshu father Fadu (33 years), Kunti husband Manshu (32 years), Pritam father Manshu resident of village Pahari, Shankargarh, Vipin Kujur father Dhema Ram (35 years) resident of village Belsar. The bodies of all the deceased have been kept in the mortuary. The police have established a track and have taken the matter under investigation.
