AUS vs SL: The 14th match of the ICC World Cup is about to start between Australia and Sri Lanka. This match is going to be very important for both the teams. This match is expected to be very exciting between the two teams looking for their first win in the World Cup 2023. Sri Lanka has won the toss in this match and decided to bat first. On the other hand, this is going to be the first match after the injury of Sri Lankan captain Dasun Shanaka. After the injury of captain Dasun Shanaka, Chamika Karunaratne has been included in the team in his place. See the playing eleven of both the teams here.

Australia is at 10th place in the points table

Australia and Sri Lanka will be determined to win this match at any cost. The team that wins the match today will remain hopeful of reaching the semi-finals of the World Cup, but the path ahead is going to be difficult for the team that gets defeated today. Surprisingly, Afghanistan has also reached fifth position in the World Cup points table after winning one match. At the same time, Australia, the most successful team of the World Cup, is at the lowest i.e. 10th position, while Sri Lanka is also at the eighth position. This in itself is a shameful record for both the teams.
