Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar biography: Team India has won the gold medal in the 10 meter air rifle tournament in the Asian Games 2023. The pair of Indian shooters Rudraksh Balasaheb Patil, Divyansh Singh Panwar, and Aishwarya Pratap Singh Tomar did this wonders for the country. These three not only won the medal but also made the world record of most points. Among these three, the story of Aishwarya Pratap Singh is quite encouraging.

    Started shooting after seeing brother

Aishwarya was born on 3 February 2001 in a Rajput farmer family in Ratanpur village of Khargone district of Madhya Pradesh. Aishwarya’s father was also fond of shooting, so guns were already present in his house. Seeing that her brother was a professional shooter, Aishwarya also made it a goal to perform well in it since her school days.

This is how to prepare for gold medal

In 2015, Aishwarya began her professional training in shooting under Vaibhav Sharma at the Madhya Pradesh Shooting Academy in Bhopal. Due to some technical reasons, he was suspended for one year from participating in shooting at the national level in 2015. However, despite this he did not stop. He has performed in various shooting competitions at national and international level in 10 meter air rifle event and 50 meter air rifle event.

In 2021, he represented India at the Tokyo Olympics 2020. This was a big moment for him, although he could not bring any medal but he impressed everyone with his performance.

Made many records in his name

Let us tell you that Aishwarya has made many records in shooting before this. He was the 10 meter rifle bronze medalist at the 2019 Asian Airgun Championships. He has also been a gold medalist of the 2019 ISSF Junior World Cup.
