Lucknow. Voting nominations are underway for the 7th phase of Lok Sabha elections in Uttar Pradesh. BJP candidate Ravi Kishan has filed his nomination today on Friday. Ravi Kishan first took blessings by performing Rudrabhishek at Gorakhnath temple along with his wife and met CM Yogi Adityanath and then filed his nomination.
Pipraich MLA Mahendra Pal Singh, Kauriya block chief Brijesh Yadav and a proposer were also present along with BJP leader Ravi Kishan to file his nomination.
On this occasion, Ravi Kishan said, it is my good fortune that I am getting a chance to file nomination. After Kashi, Gorakhpur is the hot seat. The eyes of the country and the world are on Gorakhpur.
Let us tell you, voting for the seventh phase of Lok Sabha elections is to be held on May 7 and India Alliance has fielded SP leader Kajal Nishad from Gorakhpur.
