Raipur. The Central Government has announced the police medals to be given every year on Republic Day. This time 26 policemen from Chhattisgarh have been selected for the Gallantry Award (GM). At the same time, 11 policemen have been selected for the Vishisht Seva Medal (PSM) and 11 for the Meritorious Service Medal (MSM). This time DIG KL Dhruv from Chhattisgarh has been selected for the Vishisht Seva Medal. DIG Dhruv has previously received the Gallantry Award in 2014 and 2017. In 2021, he has also received the Meritorious Service Medal.
The 11 policemen who have been selected for the Meritorious Service Medal. They include Commandant Dukhu Ram Achala, Additional Superintendent of Police Neha Pandey, Deputy Superintendent of Police Yesheshwari Yerewar, Assistant Commandant Tikaram Kurre, Assistant Platoon Commander Mahesh Shukla, Company Commander James Lakra, Sub Inspector (M) Om Prakash Sahu, Head Constable Uday Singh Sidar, all Inspector Mahendra Kumar Pathak, Assistant Sub-Inspector Manoj Kumar Sahu and Head Constable Devisharan Singh are included.

Constable Late Kishore Andrik, Asst. Constable Late Sankuram Sodhi, Asst. Constable Late Bosaram Kartami, SI Dharam Singh Tulavi, Head Constable Shiv Kumar Ramteke, Constable Chhanu Ram Poyam and Constable Gautam Korsa.
