National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) said on Monday (January 15, 2024) that Fastags with incomplete KYC (Know Your Customer) despite having funds in the account will be deactivated after January 31. Yes, if you have not completed the KYC of your Fastag then complete it soon otherwise you may face problems while traveling at the toll plaza in future.

According to a statement from NHAI, consumers should ensure that KYC for their latest Fastag is complete to avoid inconvenience. It further states that Fastag users should follow the ‘one vehicle, one Fastag’ policy. And all previously issued Fastags should be returned to their respective banks.

According to the information given by the National Highway Authority, Fastags of those with incomplete KYC will be cancelled. The authority said this while emphasizing on the campaign of One Vehicle One FASTag. Let us tell you that with this campaign the experience of driving on the National Highway will become even better.

How to update KYC for Fastag?

To update KYC of Fastag, go to https://fastag.ihmcl.com. There will be a login option on the right side of the homepage. Click on it. After this enter your registered mobile number. If you do not know the password then enter the captcha and go to the OTP. After this OTP will come on the mobile. Now after completing the further process the KYC will be updated.
