Ashutosh Tiwari, Jagdalpur. After being declared the candidate from Bastar Lok Sabha seat, former minister Kawasi Lakhma reached Jagdalpur and started his campaign. Along with visiting temples, mosques and gurudwaras on Sunday, he also donated cash to the committee organizing Holika Dahan in Jagdalpur. His picture while giving money is becoming quite viral on social media. BJP has accused the former minister of violating the code of conduct by trying to give cash as donation during the code of conduct.
Minister Kedar Kashyap has said that after becoming a Lok Sabha candidate, she has expressed her way of contesting elections by distributing cash in this way. BJP is also going to complain to the Election Commission regarding this matter.
