Neha Kesharwani, Raipur. Today is the third and last day of the winter session of the Assembly. Today the Governor’s address and supplementary budget will be discussed. There is a possibility of uproar on the last day of the session. At the same time, the opposition can corner the government on the supplementary budget today.
Today the motion of thanks for the address will be discussed in the House. Here the opposition can raise the issue of farmer suicides and increasing Naxal incidents. The provisions of the supplementary budget will also be discussed in the House today. The supplementary budget is of Rs 12 thousand 992 crores. In which around Rs 3799 crore has been approved for PM Awas Yojana, Rs 1200 crore for Mahtari Vandan Yojana, Rs 3800 crore for 2 years bonus of paddy.
Let us tell you that during the Governor’s address on the second day of the session, there was an altercation between the ruling party and the opposition. Opposition MLAs had said that farmers are committing suicide, but nothing is being said about that. After the Governor’s address, slogans of Jai-Jai Shri Ram and Jai Chhattisgarh Mahtari were raised in the House. With this the House was adjourned till Thursday.
