Raipur. Police and Central Security Force personnel have achieved great success in Bastar region, the Naxal affected area of Chhattisgarh. In Dantewada and Bijapur, police and central forces took joint action and succeeded in arresting 11 Naxalites. Of these, 10 Naxalites were arrested from Dantewada and 1 Naxalite was arrested from Bijapur. A large quantity of Naxal material has also been recovered from these Naxalites.
Let us tell you that Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai had held a meeting of police and intelligence department officers a day earlier and directed to take strict action against Naxalites. Following the instructions of CM Sai, the police operation against Naxalites has gained momentum. Area domination and combing operations have also been expedited to curb Maoist activities.

Due to which they are acting cowardly. I can assure that, like we have fought the Naxalites in the first 15 years. This time there is a double engine government. We will fight the Naxalites with even greater strength in the times to come.
