The forest department team reached the spot and is conducting health check-up. The age of the cub is said to be around 2 years. The arrival of a white bear cub in the village in this manner has become a matter of curiosity.

In this regard, Marwahi Forest Division DFO Raunak Goyal said that the cub bear has been separated from its family. Information regarding this was received from the villagers in the morning. As soon as the information was received, the Forest Department took the cub bear into its custody and is getting its health checked by veterinarians. DFO said that after preliminary tests, the child is completely healthy and plans are being made to reunite him with his family. DFO told that two small cubs have been seen with the bear in this area before, it is possible that this is the child of the same black female bear. Therefore, the child is being monitored by the Forest Department staff, it is suspected that his family is nearby. So that the child can go back to the mother safely. At present the child is completely healthy. A team of doctors is also being called from Bilaspur who will also do a health checkup of the bear.

Earlier too, photos and videos of the presence of white bears in this area have been going viral. This white bear is actually albino, which changes in white color due to changes in genes, which is very rare.
