The U.S. government is conducting a comprehensive review of the visas held by more than 55 million legal foreign residents. The State Department has stated that this action is intended to address instances where visa holders may have breached immigration regulations. The primary objective is to cancel visas for those found to be non-compliant.
The Department’s standard procedure involves continuous assessment of all U.S. visa holders. Those found to be in violation of regulations face visa revocation and potential deportation to their country of origin.
Reasons for visa ineligibility include exceeding the authorized stay duration, posing a public safety risk, engaging in criminal or terrorist acts, or offering support to terrorist groups.
