Donald Trump has stated that a recent military operation resulted in ‘monumental damage’ to Iran’s nuclear sites. The former president made the claim based on satellite images. He described the destruction as severe, even using the word ‘obliteration’ to emphasize the extent of the impact. Trump’s statements followed reports of ‘precision strikes’ conducted as part of ‘Operation Midnight Hammer,’ targeting the Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan nuclear facilities. In a separate post, Trump alluded to the possibility of regime change in Iran, suggesting that if the current leadership cannot achieve progress, a change might be necessary. US Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth confirmed the operation’s success and clarified that the strikes were aimed at disabling Iran’s nuclear program, not at harming Iranian military personnel or civilians.
