The survey highlights that discrimination against Muslims in France is rampant, affecting various aspects of their lives. Approximately 66% of Muslims reported experiencing racist behavior in the last five years, significantly higher than the figures for the general French population (20%) and individuals of other religions (18%). Among women who wear the hijab, this figure rises to 75%. The survey also revealed that 76% of young people under 25, 81% of Muslims with strong accents, and 84% of Muslims of African descent have faced discrimination. The survey was based on interviews with 1,000 French Muslims and showed a concerning picture of prejudice.
