Pakistan, after assessing India’s military might in Operation Sindoor, is now focused on enhancing its military capabilities. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif inaugurated the new Pakistan Army Rocket Force Command during the ‘Marka-e-Haq’ ceremony in Islamabad. This newly formed military unit is designed to deploy a large number of conventional missiles and rockets, including the ‘Fateh’ series and other missile systems. The creation of this force is a direct reaction to the severe losses Pakistan suffered during Operation Sindoor and the increasing missile strength of India. The new Rocket Force will operate in conjunction with Pakistan’s existing Army Strategic Force Command (ASFC), but it will exclusively manage conventional missiles and rockets, without any nuclear weapons. This initiative by Pakistan is perceived as an attempt to counter India’s formidable long-range missile systems, such as the BrahMos, Prithvi, and Agni series. This development signifies a notable change in Pakistan’s military strategy. The success of Operation Sindoor is viewed as a key development in India’s military strategy, showcasing the Indian army’s superior performance. The Indian army employed missiles, accurate targeting, and advanced technology to defeat the enemy in this operation. Operation Sindoor sent a clear message to the world that India has significantly upgraded its defense capabilities. Following Operation Sindoor, India continues to take steps to strengthen its defense capabilities further. The operation was launched in response to a terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir on April 22, where 26 tourists were killed. In response, the Indian army launched Operation Sindoor, eliminating numerous terrorist hideouts and over 100 terrorists, highlighting the Indian army’s strength.
