Reza Pahlavi, the former Crown Prince of Iran, has called for a change in the country’s leadership, stating that the Islamic Republic is nearing collapse. He has sharply criticized Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, comparing him to a “frightened rat.” Pahlavi, who has lived in exile since 1971, is establishing channels for military, security, and police personnel to communicate directly with him. He declared his intent to lead a national transition, based on principles of territorial integrity, individual liberties, and separation of religion and state. Pahlavi is also developing an economic plan, the Iran Prosperity Project, to rebuild the nation with the help of international investors. He believes that a free and democratic Iran is within reach and called for unity among Iranians.
