A significant demonstration unfolded in central London on September 14, 2025, with over 100,000 people joining far-right anti-immigration protests. The demonstrations led to confrontations, and the London police reported that several officers were assaulted and attacked with various projectiles. Footage shared online showed large groups of people heading toward Westminster, where the UK Parliament is located. Tommy Robinson, an anti-immigration activist, organized the ‘Unite the Kingdom’ protest. A counter-protest, initiated by ‘Stand Up To Racism’, was held at the southern end of Whitehall amid a significant police presence. According to the Metropolitan Police Service, 26 officers sustained injuries, and 25 individuals were arrested. The policing operation concluded, and central London returned to its usual state. The violence and attacks on officers were condemned by London Mayor Sadiq Khan.
