Palestinian director Basel Adra, an Oscar winner, reported that Israeli soldiers raided his home in the West Bank. The soldiers questioned his wife and examined her phone. Adra further stated that the Israeli forces had attacked his village, leading to injuries among his family members, including two of his brothers and a cousin. After taking his injured relatives to the hospital, he learned from villagers that nine Israeli soldiers had invaded their home. The soldiers interrogated his wife, Suha, about her husband, inspected her phone, and were present while their nine-month-old daughter was at home. Adra also disclosed that his uncle was briefly detained. Unable to return home or see his family, Adra spent the night outside the village as soldiers had surrounded the area, fearing his own arrest. The Israeli army explained its presence in the village was due to stone-throwing by Palestinians, which had injured two Israeli citizens. The army confirmed that its soldiers were still in the village, carrying out searches and interrogations.
