He emphasized that this agreement marks the initiation of a comprehensive regional security system. The defense deal stipulates that any aggression against either Pakistan or Saudi Arabia will be considered an attack on both nations, mandating a joint response. The agreement was formalized last week in Riyadh. Pezeshkian highlighted the significance of the agreement for Muslim countries in the region. He views it as a foundation for enhanced cooperation in political, security, and defense matters within West Asia.
