The Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) has vehemently condemned the recent US strikes targeting Iran’s nuclear facilities in Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan. The agency has declared these actions as a breach of international law, highlighting that the sites are under the supervision of the IAEA as per the NPT. Former US President Donald Trump announced the obliteration of Iran’s principal nuclear enrichment sites after the military strikes.
In a strongly worded statement, the AEOI accused the IAEA of either indifference or collusion. The agency urged the international community to condemn this behavior and stand with Iran. The AEOI has emphasized that it will pursue all necessary legal avenues to safeguard the rights of the Iranian people. Iran stated its unwavering commitment to continuing its nuclear program despite facing challenges.
The AEOI also assured the Iranian people that, with the efforts of its scientists, it will not permit the progress of this industry, which is the result of the blood of nuclear martyrs, to be halted.
