A nine-member all-party delegation, led by BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad, arrived in Berlin to bolster India’s united front against terrorism. India’s Ambassador to Germany, Ajit Gupte, greeted the delegation. The visit is part of Operation Sindoor, a diplomatic initiative by the Indian government to counter terrorism. The delegation plans to meet with key figures in the German government, including members of the Bundestag and the Federal Foreign Office, as well as members of the Indian community, between June 5 and 7. The delegation’s arrival in Germany followed a visit to Belgium, where they voiced concerns about terrorism and the role of Pakistan’s military in supporting terrorist groups. Ravi Shankar Prasad stated that India is the voice of the victims of terrorism. Discussions also covered India’s economic growth. The delegation’s efforts are connected to Operation Sindoor, which was launched after a terrorist attack in Pahalgam in April, and which resulted in Indian military strikes against terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan.
