Both nations recognized the prevailing peace and stability in border regions since the previous talks. A consensus was reached on establishing expert and working groups for consultation and coordination on border affairs. Furthermore, efforts to activate the border management system at diplomatic and military levels were planned, with the next meeting scheduled in China. The visit also facilitated agreements on a range of bilateral issues, highlighted during the meeting between Foreign Minister Jaishankar and Wang Yi.
