Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with the governors of 16 Japanese prefectures in Tokyo to discuss the potential of state-level partnerships between India and Japan. This meeting, part of the 15th India-Japan Annual Summit’s state-prefecture partnership initiative, aimed to strengthen cooperation in areas such as technology, innovation, investment, and skill development.
The Prime Minister highlighted that Indian states and Japanese prefectures could collaborate to achieve mutual growth and progress.
