An Earthquake of 6.1 Magnitude was felt Near Nepal’s Kathmandu during the early hours of Friday.
However, there was no immediati report of any damage or causality from the quake, as per pti. The Earthquake was recorded along with Kodari Highway in Sindhupalchowk District, 65 km East of Kathmandu, at 2:51 AM, According to the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Center.
The Earthquake was felt in and Around the kathmandu valley. Nepal lies in one of the most active tectonic zones (seismic zones iv and v), making the country extramely vulnerable to earthquakes.
After the earthquake in nepal, tremors were also fed in Bihar. Talking to ani, a local residence of muzaffarpur, bihar, said, “I was asleep when I felt the bed shaking; The fan was shaking too. We were scared and immediatively rushed out of the house… ”

Another Local Resident of Muzaffarpur Told Ani, “… as soon as we felt the tremors, we rushed out of our house. IMMMEDIELY CALLED Up My Relatives and Told them of the Earthquake … It felt as if the entrance house was shaking… ”
