Meanwhile, the 22nd ASEAN-India Summit in Kuala Lumpur saw India and ASEAN member states reaffirming their commitment to a robust partnership. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in his virtual address, highlighted crucial aspects for future cooperation, such as tackling terrorism, enhancing maritime security, and expediting the review of the existing trade agreement. He emphasized that a united global front is essential to effectively counter the threat of terrorism.
