Misri, speaking at a press conference, noted that the Prime Minister had prioritized cross-border terrorism, underscoring its shared impact and the necessity for mutual support in combating it. Misri confirmed that China has offered its understanding and cooperation during the SCO Summit. On the topic of border talks, Misri stated that specific mechanisms have been created to advance the discussions. He anticipates meetings in the coming weeks to determine the path forward for border delimitation talks. Both India and China have prioritized domestic development and view each other as partners. They agreed that a stable relationship is crucial for the benefit of both countries’ populations. They believe that mutual interests are greater than differences and that disagreements should not become disputes. Both countries also recognize the importance of cooperation for an Asian-led century and a multipolar global structure. Leaders also highlighted the importance of reducing the bilateral trade deficit, promoting trade and investment, and enhancing policy transparency.
