Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Iran’s Foreign Minister, launched a scathing attack on Israel, employing the term ‘Daddy’ to describe the U.S.’s role in the region. The remarks came in response to Israel seeking support after Iran’s missile strikes. Araghchi’s post on X asserted that Israel ‘had NO CHOICE but to RUN to “Daddy” to avoid being flattened.’
Additionally, Araghchi warned the United States, suggesting that disrespect towards Ayatollah Khamenei would impede any potential agreements with Iran. He highlighted the nation’s strong sense of independence and resistance to external influence, indicating that Iran would respond forcefully to threats.
These statements followed comments from Donald Trump, who accused Khamenei of dishonesty and claimed to have prevented an Israeli attack on Tehran during the conflict. Trump also indicated that talks between Iran and the U.S. were imminent and that the Middle East war was concluded.
