An unexpected gesture of goodwill emerged from the meeting between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin in Anchorage. A retired Anchorage city employee, Warren, was gifted a motorcycle valued at ₹19.2 lakh by the Russian government. The connection? Warren had been interviewed by a Russian television crew before the summit. During the interview, he discussed the challenges of sourcing parts for his Ural motorcycle. The Russian journalist subsequently contacted Warren to inform him of the gift. The gift was arranged through the Russian embassy in the U.S. After the summit, Warren received confirmation that the motorcycle was ready for collection. The motorcycle, a new olive-green model, was manufactured just days before it was presented to him. Ural motorcycles, with a history dating back to 1941, are currently assembled in Kazakhstan and distributed via a team in Washington.
