A leaked audio clip, reportedly featuring Israel’s Mossad, details a series of threats aimed at Iranian generals. The recording, which has gained traction, appears to have been made following the launch of Israel’s Operation Rising Lion. The message was clear: evacuate within 12 hours or face the consequences. The audio, which The Washington Post acquired, features a Mossad agent speaking to an IRGC general, saying, ‘I can advise you now, you have 12 hours to escape with your wife and child. Otherwise, you’re on our list right now.’ This warning was one of approximately twenty calls made to senior IRGC officials before planned strikes.
Further threats included a promise of violent retribution, with the agent stating, ‘We will hit you, your family, your children, everyone, with the dirt,’ while offering a limited 12-hour window. The threats were delivered in Persian. The operative continued, ‘Like I said, 12 hours from this very minute that I spoke to you, you have time to escape,’ also stating ‘If not, you have no one to blame but yourself.’
The operative also claimed their actions included the recent assassination of multiple high-ranking IRGC officials. The operative further questioned the Iranian general asking, ‘Do you want to be one of them? Do you want to be the next one on the list? Do you also want to destroy your wife and child? No, right?’ The general’s response was, ‘So, what should I do?’ The general was instructed to record and transmit a video denouncing the Iranian regime via Telegram. The success of this instruction remains unconfirmed. This strategy aimed to destabilize the Iranian regime by causing fear among lower-ranking leaders and making it harder for the Supreme Leader to replace targeted officials. The Israeli Prime Minister’s Office has not issued a statement on the matter.
