Piaggio India is going to launch its retro-themed Vespa Racing Sixties scooter tomorrow. It is expected to be one of the most expensive scooters sold in the country. However, its price will be revealed only after launching. It was first showcased at Auto Expo 2020. The Vespa Racing Sixties is based on the updated Vespa SXL 150. That is, the racing Sixties will get the engine of SXL 150. The racing sixties will come with white and red paint schemes and many add-ons. Its price can be around 5000 rupees more than SXL 150. Currently the SXL 150 is the most expensive model of the Vespa, its Delhi Ex-showroom price is around Rs 1.28 lakhs. As already mentioned, the Vespa Racing Sixties will share their mechanicals with the SXL 150, that is, to power this scooter, it will have a BS6 compliant 149cc fuel-injected engine, which is 7600 Will generate 10.5 PS at rpm and 10.6 Nm of torque at 5500 rpm. It will also have 110 / 70R11 front and 120 / 70R10 rear tires with single side arm front suspension and four-way adjustable rear suspension.
