In a major cyber attack in the US, former President Barack Obama, Presidential candidate Joe Biden in November, Tesla CEO Elon Musk, Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, and Apple’s iPhone maker Apple’s big business and leaders Twitter accounts were hacked on Wednesday.
Following the incident, Twitter said that “it is a difficult day for him and he is working on an early solution to this problem”. According to reports, an unexpected tweet from the Tesla company CEO Twitter account at around 4:17 pm read, “I am feeling generous due to Kovid-19”. I will double any BTC payment sent to my BTC account within the next hour. Good luck and stay safe! “
The tweet also contained a bitcoin address. It is believed to be linked to the hacker’s crypto wallet. In such a situation, it is considered as a hackers’ act or hacking bitcoin scam. A post on hacked accounts asks for donations in Bitcoin.
The tweet from the account of Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates said – “Everyone has been asking me to return to society, now that the time has come. You send me one thousand dollars, I will send you two thousand dollars back ”. After this, a new tweet was deleted by deleting the old tweet, in which it was said to send back two thousand dollars in just 30 minutes upon sending one thousand dollars.
The accounts of some of the world’s leading people and big companies like former US President Barack Obama, Democratic Party presidential candidate Joe Biden, rapper Kanaye West, Uber, Apple etc. have been hacked. The tweets posted from the celebrities’ account were deleted a few minutes later. But after this, a wave started and many other prominent people started getting hacked. However, millions of people sent millions of dollars to hackers during this period.
